The fourth and fifth generation of the Ambrose family are honored to now offer funeral services in accordance with Jewish law (Halakha) and traditions. We understand the importance of preserving faith, heritage, and dignity. During this time, our compassionate staff is here to walk you and your family through each step of the process, with respect and care.

Honoring Tradition

We work closely with families, rabbis, clergy, your chevra kaddisha, as well as commnity members to ensure all aspects of the service reflect Jewish laws (Halakha) and customs (Minhag), including:

  • Transfer of the deceased into our immediate care
  • Care of the deceased, such as refrigeration and the Tahara (ritual washing and cleansing when requested by the family and performed by a chevra kaddisha.).
  • Prompt burial;
  • Arrangements made in accordance with Jewish practice, in coordination with your synagogue, chosen rabbi and/or your local chevra kaddisha
  • Shomer (guardian); ensuring your loved one is never left alone before burial.
  • Simple wood caskets are offered
  • Crafted without metal, all wood construction, in keeping with tradition
  • Limousine service
  • We can provide transportation of the immediate family members to and from tghe funeral home and cemetery for services and interment
  • Provide guidance, delivery, and pickup for Shiva equipment and memorial needs.
  • Services can be at the graveside, at your synagogue, or at one of our two convenient locations.
