Obituary

   On January 20th, 2023, Sharon Joy Fosler passed away. Born on November 2nd, 1942 to the late Helen and late Stephen Joy, Sr., she was the loving wife of the late Joseph "Roy" Fosler; devoted mother of Lisa Prough, Patrick Spurgeon and his fiancee Jeanne Cooper, Michael Spurgeon and his wife Christy; cherished grandmother of David, Shannon, Shelby, Ashleigh, Brayden, Brynn, the late Tommy; dear sister of Gail Joy and her late husband Ross, Stephen Joy, Jr. and his wife Michele Martucci, the late Holly Swan and her late husband Silas.

   Sharon was a physician's assistant for over 30 years and was part of the first graduating class of the state. She loved family, entertaining cooking, and had a real passion for local sports teams, especially the Ravens.

   A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, January 28th from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Arbutus, where a memorial service will begin at 11:30 AM.
