Melvin Boyer, Sr.

Melvin Carl Boyer, Sr., age 72, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2020 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 28, 1947 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Ruth Edna Boyer (nee Storm) and to the late Edwin Boyer. Melvin is the beloved husband of Rocklin Boyer; loving father of Melvin Carl Boyer, Jr. and his wife Maria and Peter C. Boyer and his wife Kris; cherished grandfather of Steven and his wife Stacy, Kayla, Jenna and Dylan, and great grandfather of Claire; dear brother of Ruth Zinck and her late husband Paul, Wes Boyer and his wife Sherry and the late Frank Boyer and Debbie Chandler; best friend of Craig Marino and his wife Sharon. Melvin is also survived by nieces, nephews other loving relatives and friends.

Family members and friends will honor Mel’s life at the Arbutus United Methodist Church, 1201 Maple Ave., Halethorpe, Maryland 21227 with a Memorial service on Saturday, March 14, 2020 beginning at 11am.
