Marjorie Miller (nee Kopasek)...better known as "Marge in Charge," passed away on September 10, 2019 at Medstar Harbor Hospital in Baltimore. Marjorie was born on August 1, 1935 in Somerset, PA. Marjorie was given the name Margaret but liked to be called Marjorie.  Marjorie and her beloved husband the late Russell Miller married on August 22, 1953, and settled in Baltimore Highlands where they lived for 41 years and raised 6 children.  She is the loving mother of  Gregory (and wife the late Joeline), Thomas  (and wife Leslie), David (and wife Louise), Kenneth (and wife Pamela), Annette (and husband Warren), and the late Michael Miller; Grandmother of David, Daniel (and wife Amanda), Crystal (and husband Jamie), Michael, Jason (and wife Brianne), Clint (and wife Maya), Codi (and husband CJ); great-grandmother of Aubrey, Dylan, Brock, Amelia, Jackson, Dawson, Thomas, Griffin, and Jack; also survived by her sisters Betty, Lillian, and Bernadine; preceded in death by her siblings Pauline, Kate, Ann, Mary, Andrew, and John Joseph; also predeceased by her parents Jacob and Anna Kopasek, and daughter in law the late Susan Miller. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

Marjorie and Russell were very active in the youth organizations which included scouts, recreation and parks, baseball, roller skating, and even started the junior teen center.  Even after the children grew up Marjorie stayed active in community organizations which include President of Community Association, President of Triangle Golden Club,for 28 years, member of Southwest Leadership Team for 10 years, Red Hat Society for 5 years, President of Senior Center. She helped at Kessler Park Senior Housing with travel, trips, parties, bingo, and numerous other activities. She also sold Avon, Toys, Poplar Club, and ran the flea market for 5 years.

Family and friends may visit at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne 2719 Hammonds Ferry Road, on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9pm, where a Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 9:30am. Interment Following at Loudon Park Cemetery. Please send memorial donations in her name to the Lansdowne Baltimore Highlands Senior Center at 424 Third Ave. Lansdowne, MD. 21227.
