Margaret "Peg" Mooney

Margaret “Peg” Anne Mooney, age 82, peacefully passed away on December 31, 2021. Peg was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Clifford Baker & the late Rossie Baker (nee Corcoran). She is the devoted wife of the late James Donald Mooney; loving mother of Jim Mooney (& his wife Barbara), Beth Bryant (& her late husband Dave), Traci Mooney (& her significant other Chuck Helman), Tim Mooney (& his wife Sue), & Meg Mooney (& her husband Eric Massey); beloved sister of Joan Becker, Cliff Baker (& his wife Bonnie), Robert Hess (& his wife Kathy), the late Ronald Baker, the late Charlene Swanke, & the late Patricia Hartman; cherished grandmother of Chris Mooney (& his wife Nicole), Amanda Roys (& her husband David), Patrick Mooney (& his wife Kym), Andrew Bryant (& his wife Melissa), Kate Mooney, & Amy Bryant; caring great-grandmother of Silas, Arya, Renee, Cullen, & Chase. Peg is also survived by many other loving friends. If you’re wishing to make a donation, the family requests donations be made in Peg’s name to the Maryland Food Bank or the Lansdowne Volunteer Fire Department.

Family & friends may gather at the family owned & operated Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd., Lansdowne, MD 21227 for a public visitation on Monday, January 3rd from 3:00-5:00pm & 7:00-9:00pm. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 26 at 11:00am.
