Jordan Rice

On June 14, 2021 Jordan Christopher Rice passed away.  He was the devoted son of Robin Riggie and her husband Rob and Ron Rice and his wife Patty; dear brother of Samantha Poe and Joshua Hood; dear uncle of Jacob Lavonture; cherished grandson of Denise Goldsmith, Billy Goldsmith, Virgil Poe, Joann Robinson and the late James Rice; caring nephew of Heather Kukus and her husband Cesare Kukus, Rachel Krumheuer-Walter, Stacy Gamble, and Kathleen Rice and the late Jimmy Rice; he is also survived by many loving cousins, friends, and other relatives.

With a constant happy smile on his face, Jordan was always eager and willing to help those less fortunate. It would be common practice for him to stop in his tracks and offer counsel or assistance to someone on the streets.  In good conscious, he couldn’t walk away knowing they could use his help.  He was the most kind, genuine soul who had zest for life that was contagious. He loved to sing and had joined a choir that he absolutely loved.  Jordan’s head was always in the sky, as he worked as a rigger climbing high broadcast/cellular towers; a job he was proud of and took very seriously.  In his downtime, Jordan enjoyed playing Madden and watching football.  It was his idea of the best way to unwind after getting home from work.

The world lost an amazing, incredible person. The best son a parent could ever ask for, the best friend anyone could wish for, and a truly outstanding contribution to society that will leave an unimaginable void.  Words cannot describe what Jordan meant to everyone.  He will be sorely missed by all who were lucky enough to experience his presence.
