Gilbert Thomas, Sr.

On March 29th, 2021, Gilbert Edward Thomas, Sr. passed away. Born on January 6th, 1934, he was the loving husband of Sylvia Thomas; devoted father of Gilbert Thomas, Jr., Jerry L. Thomas and wife Rhonda, Charles R. Thomas and wife Sherrie, Stevie M. Thomas and wife Maria, Terry E. Thomas and wife Crystal, Lisa Cole, Sheila McCoy; cherished grandfather of several grandchildren and great grandchildren; dear brother of Eloise Chisley, Jimmy Thomas; loving uncle of Gerald Hammond and wife Darlene. Gilbert was preceded in death by his parents, the late Mary and late Herbert Thomas; wife, the late Melinda M. Harris; partner, the late Charlene Balderson, and son, the late Tommy D. Thomas.

A memorial gathering will be held at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Arbutus on Saturday, April 3rd from 4 PM to 7 PM.
