Bernice Young

Bernice Agnes Young, age 81, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on May 21, 2020. She is the beloved wife of 64 years to John William Young, Sr. Bernice is the devoted mother of Diana Georgius and her husband Kenneth, Patrice Hein and her husband John, Denise Hesselbein and her husband Thomas, and John Young, Jr. and his wife Laurie; cherished grandmother of Kenny, Kyle, Conor, Kelly, Matthew, Allison, Rachel, Thomas, Sydney, Erin, Phillip; great grandmother of Nathan, Dustin, Jorja, Jada, and Donte; also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Halethorpe, MD 21227 on Tuesday from 4-7pm. Due to recent events, we are only allowed up to 9 family members in the funeral home at a time. Please check in with the parking attendant when you arrive. We ask that everyone remain in their cars until invited to come into the funeral home. A funeral mass is being planned. Please check the website for updated information. Burial will take place at Maryland Veterans Cemetery Garrison Forest. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bernice’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
