Barbara Black

On May 30th, 2022, Barbara Ann Black passed away. Born on June 26th, 1942, she was the cherished daughter of the late Emma and late Albert Shawyer; loving wife of the late Harold Black, Sr.; devoted mother of Robert Fox, Jr. and wife Sherry, Patricia Younkins and late husband Gene, Harold Black, Jr. and wife Natalie, Jimmy Kinnamon; cherished grandmother of Gordon, III, Chasaity, Cynthia, Gena, James, Crystal, David, Nicole, Bobby, III, Sergio, Sebastian, Matthew; loving great grandmother or Amethyst and twenty-four great grandchildren. Barbara is predeceased by her siblings Junnie Miller and surviving wife Carol, Patricia Morris and late husband Robert, Virginia Kegley and late husband Robert, and Kenny Sweeney.

A public viewing will be held at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd. on Monday, June 6th from 3 PM to 5 PM and from 7 PM to 9 PM, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 7th at 10 AM. Interment will immediately follow at Maryland Veteran Cemetery at Garrison Forest.
