William "Bud" Lucas, Sr.

William “Bud” N. Lucas, Sr. born October 15, 1925 and passed July 15, 2022.  He was 96 years old and a Navy Veteran.  Married to Doris (Paul) Lucas for 35 years having 2 children.  Following Doris’ death, remarried to Joan Pontier Simms of Arbutus, MD, in 1977.  Member of Dewey Lowman Post 109 and VFW, Lansdowne.  He is survived by his Wife, Joan P. Lucas, Daughter, Shelley Narcross, Stepson, Mark P. Simms, Grandchildren, William Lucas, Mathew Lucas, Christopher Simms.  Predeceased by Wife, Doris Lucas, and Son, Norman.  Visiting hours 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Ambrose Funeral Home, Arbutus, on July 24.  Mass 9:45 am at Ascension Catholic Church, Halethorpe, followed by burial at Maryland Veteran’s Cemetery in Crownsville, on July 25.
