William "Bill" Shappell
April 11, 1925 — December 9, 2021
William "Bill" Shappell, age 96, peacefully passed away at home on December 9th, 2021. Bill was born in Red Cross, PA to the late Clarence W. Shappell & the late Lillian M. Shappell (nee Hoover). He is the devoted husband of Helen V. Shappell; loving father of Bill Shappell, Jr., Ken Hueg, & Terry Cherry (& her husband Don); cherished grandfather of Jason Cherry. Bill is preceded in death by his siblings, Millie Staufer, Dot Hollenbach, & Mark "Pink" Shappell. He is also survived by many loving friends.
A private graveside service will be held at Maryland Veterans Cemetery Crownsville.
