William T. Pirtle

William Thomas Pirtle of Halethorpe, MD has reached his last train stop and has unfortunately passed away. Bill (as most called him) was son to Ambrose and Dora (Sommerville) Pirtle. He leaves behind his loving wife Linda Pirtle, his son Robert and Grandson Ryder, And his sister Nancy Pirlte-Connelly.

Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and sharing his love of trains and vintage cars. He loved sitting with Linda on their porch swing or soaking in the hot tub. He was so proud of his son Robert for the amazing husband, father, and mentor he had become and shared their "Crazy and Wild" personality. He adored his Grandson Ryder and loved being known as "Grandpa." He couldn't wait to play in the Train garden with him, share his knowledge and help him to be the best person he could possibly be. He also enjoyed talking about kitty cats and plants with his sister Nancy.

He will be deeply missed by family and friends.

When you hear a train whistle, just know that is Bill saying hi from the heavens.

A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd, on Saturday August 15th from 4-8pm.
