William "Bill" Joseph Scanlan, III

William "Bill" Joseph Scanlan, III, age 81, sadly passed away on May 28, 2026. He was born in Montclair, New Jersey to the late Betty and the late William Scanlan, Jr. Bill is the devoted husband of Marilia Scanlan; loving step-father of Lisa Pellegrino and Paula Watson; beloved step-grandfather of Christopher, Brianna, and Bailey; cherished brother of Bob Scanlan (Jane), Tom Scanlan (Dorothy), and John Scanlan (Kathi); dear nephew of Marie Wendt; caring uncle of Daniel Scanlan (Jessica), Valerie Heidorn, Gabriel Scanlan, and Joshua Scanlan (Kate); caring great-uncle of Mark, Alex, and Conner.

Family and friends may gather at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Halethorpe, MD 21227 for a public visitation on Thursday, June 4 from 3:00-6:00pm. A Funeral Service will begin at 6:00pm.
