Wayne Roach

Wayne Stephen Roach, age 74, sadly passed away on November 19, 2022. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late John Stephen Roach & the late Irma Annette Roach (nee Jacobs). He is the beloved husband of JoAnn Roach; loving father of Jeff Roach (Carrie) & Rebecca Redford (Josh); caring grandfather of Aubrey Roach, Landon Roach, & 1 grandson on the way. He is predeceased by many half-siblings. Wayne is a U.S. Navy veteran that proudly served his country during the Vietnam War while aboard the USS Saratoga CVA-60. After serving in the military, Wayne went on to graduate from the University of Baltimore with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. In 1974, Wayne became a professional tennis instructor. He taught a number of years at numerous places. Later on in life, he became an avid golfer. Wayne retired from the Frederick County Government as their Director of Facilities Services.

Family & friends may gather at the family owned & operated Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Halethorpe, MD 21227 for a public visitation on Tuesday, November 22 from 4:00-8:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Patronage of the Mother of God Byzantine Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 23 at 10:00am. Interment will immediately follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
