Wayne E. Parks

On August 15, 2023 Wayne E. Parks aka "Pops", age 63, of Friedens, PA left our world for his new one.  He was the second born to the late Cathleen "Sis" Fox (nee Stith) and the late Wilbert E. Parks on September 19, 1959.  He joins his brother the late Victor L. Parks and leaves behind his sister Christina Cate (the late Arthur Cate, Jr.) and Wanda Wise (Carroll Wise).  He is lovingly survived by his daughter Christy Parks (with former wife Jami Parks), three biological grandchildren Chrisotpher Grosholz, & Kora and Warren Warta, his love of 9 years Kathy Durst and all of the Durst children and grandchildren, including the Dinges grandchildren. Wayne was an adoring, and proud uncle to Victor & Tabitha Parks, Haley Sayo, Chastity & Sahra Wise, Angela Crafton (nee Ritenour), his God- daughter Nicole Ruono Alonzo (nee Dudley), and many "adopted" great nieces and nephews, and all the babies he loved along the way. His loving ways, humor, and kind spirit will be remembered forever by his family, and friends.  

Family members and friends will gather to celebrate his life on Friday from 9:30-11:30am.  A procession to lay Wayne to rest in Cedar Hill Cemetery will immediately follow.
