Walton "Bud" Smith, Jr.

Walton “Bud” Lewis Smith, Jr., age 75, peacefully passed away on November 3rd, 2021. Bud was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Walton L. Smith, Sr. & the late Ruth Smith (nee Angerman). Bud was a proud Vietnam Veteran that served in the United States Air Force. He is the beloved husband of the late Lida Smith; loving father of Patty Wheeler (& her husband Bill), Sandra McNaney (& her husband John), Michelle Forgen (& her husband Matt), & Kevin Herbert; cherished brother of David Smith, Kenneth Smith, the late Janet Norman, & the late William Smith; caring grandfather of 9 grandchildren; dear great-grandfather of 4 great-grandchildren.

A memorial gathering will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Halethorpe, MD 21227 on Sunday, November 7th from 3:00-4:00pm. A memorial service will begin at 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Bud’s name to Gilchrist Hospice.
