On August 17, 2026 Walter William Shaw, Sr., peacefully passed away. He was the beloved husband of Jo Ann Shaw; devoted son of the late Arthur Edward Shaw, Sr. and the late Pauline Irene Shaw (nee Fields); loving father of Walt Shaw, Jr. (Lisa); cherished grandfather of Kaitlyn Erin Shaw, Hunter Mackenzie Shaw, & Austin Jacob Shaw; dear brother of Arthur E. Shaw, Jr. (late Peggy) and late Arden Franklin Shaw, Sr. Walt is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
Family members and friends will gather in our Lansdowne location on Thursday August 27th from 3-5 and 7-9PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday August 28th at 9:30am at the Lansdowne Worship Center. Burial will immediately follow in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery at Crownsville.
