Shelton Dana Parker

On July 9, 2025, Dana Parker peacefully passed away at the age of 59. Born on January 30, 1966 to the late Gladys and Shelton Parker of Lansdowne, Maryland.

Dana was the beloved son of the late M. Gladys and Shelton D. Parker; loving brother to Sherry Hall (Dan Hall), Robin Stark (Doug Stark), Tammy Koenigsmark (Brian Koenigsmark) and predeceased in death by Garry Parker. He was a cherished uncle to Heather Jenkins, Jaime Cook, Amber Schafer, Morgan and Ryan Stark, Zachary Cavanaugh, Nathan and Abbi Koenigsmark and MacKenzie Jenkins; also survived by many loving relatives and wonderful friends.

Dana was a retired Captain from the Baltimore County Fire Department, he served in the fire department for 28 years, touching many lives and making many friends in the brotherhood/sisterhood of the department before he retired. He was a graduate of Lansdowne Sr. High School and University of Maryland Baltimore County, earning a degree in Information Systems. He had a great love for the outdoors, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, long walks and hiking. His warmth and kindness will dearly be missed by all who knew him.

A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Road, Halethorpe MD 21227 on Sunday from 3-5pm and 7-9pm and Monday from 10am – 12pm with a funeral service beginning at 12pm. Burial will immediately follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
