Sharon Ritch

Faith Sharon Ritch, age 74, affectionately known as Sharon passed away on January 31, 2018 in Columbia, Maryland surrounded by her loving family. Sharon was born on January 22, 1944 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Frederick McGinnis and to the late Mary McGinnis (nee Holmes). She is the beloved wife of 56 years to Samuel H. Ritch; loving mother of Kevin M. Ritch, Patrick S. Ritch and his significant other Jerry, Melinda Cummins and Rey; cherished grandmother of Matthew Hafner, Justun Montgomery, Brittany Hafner, Jamie Montgomery, Shane Montgomery and McKella Cummins, and great grandmother of Alex, Nate and two great grandchildren on the way; dear aunt of favorite niece Karen McGinnis. Also, survived by her dear Cat Levi, and other loving relatives and friends.

Sharon loved the Baltimore Orioles and shopping. Her favorite color is teal blue. Sharon is the greatest cook ever to her husband. Sharon was the most loving mother and grandmother in the whole wide world.

Family members and friends will honor Sharon’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME, INC. (Arbutus) on Tuesday, 2/6/18 with a gathering at 5pm follow by a memorial service beginning at 6pm.
