Ronald Bond, Jr.

Ronald Bond, Jr., age 62, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2026. He is the beloved husband of over 40 years to Cynthia Bond; devoted father of Ronnie Bond and his wife Kim, Tayloranne Block and her husband Andrew, and Douglas Bond; dear Pop Pop and Ya Ya of Alex Bond, Rhiannon Bond, Kaine Webster, Freya Block, and Ronin Block; also survived by many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Garnetta Bond, his aunt Denise Bond, and uncles Lenny Bond, Doug Bond, and Earl Bond.

Ron, affectionately known as Popeye, was an avid hunter, crabber, and fisherman. He enjoyed spending weekends on the boat with his family fishing and crabbing. Above everything else, he loved being with his family and will be deeply missed.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
