Rita Ann Jones

Rita Ann (Foos) Jones, age 90, sadly passed away on October 26, 2023. Rita was born on August 17, 1933 to the late Elizabeth R. (Rosendale) Foos and the late Charles C. Foos. Rita grew up in Baltimore and attended St. Martin's High School. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Mark's in Catonsville. Rita was a resident of Florida for many years before moving back to the Catonsville area. Rita is the mother of Stephen Paul Sieglein and Jerome Anthony Sieglein; cherished sister of Charles H. Foos and the late Lawrence C. Foos; caring cousin of Kathleen Miller, Jack Strohmer, the late Darlene Cumberland, and the late Michael J. Geraghty. Rita is also survived by many loving grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family would like to thank the Sisters and staff of St. Joseph's Nursing Home for their wonderful care. Memorials can be made in her memory to St. Joseph's Nursing Home in Catonsville. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, November 11 at 9:30am followed by Mass at 10:00am at St. Joseph's Nursing Home, 1222 Tugwell Dr., Catonsville, MD 21228.
