Richard Edwards

It is with great sadness that the friends and family of Richard Edwards announces his death. Richard went home to be with the Lord at his home in Halethorpe, MD on Saturday, November 20th. Richard was born March 23, 1950 in Roanoke, Virginia to the late Hobert & Naomi Simpkins Edwards. He was preceded in death by his brother, Samuel 'Gene' Edwards. Richard was a Navy Veteran and served his country aboard the USS John F Kennedy (VA-C 67). He also was an outdoors sportsman who loved to hunt and fish and anything to do with the outdoors. He is survived by several cousins and many friends. A memorial service is planned in Maryland at a later date.
