Rhonda Joan Kearns (nee Lapp), age 67 years, a resident of Severna Park, passed away peacefully Monday April 6, 2026 at home. She was born July 31, 1958 in Baltimore, MD, daughter of the late Joan Paff and Irvin Lapp Jr. She is survived by her loving partner Ronald Krickler. She was a loving Mom to Edward Hannigan and his wife Meghan Scheffel of Linthicum, MD and Emory Kearns and his fiancee Krystina Polling of Pasadena, MD. She was a loving Mom-Mom to her two grandchildren, Aubrey and Londyn. She is survived by one brother, Rudy Lapp. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Robert Lapp, Roger Lapp and Richard Lapp.

Rhonda was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for family gatherings. She was a lover of animals and adopted many dogs throughout her lifetime. Her most current rescue, Bronx, will miss her dearly. She could often be found feeding the backyard wildlife. Growing up with four brothers, she was good at all sports but had a special affinity for softball and duckpin bowling. In her spare time, she enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping and boating. Her favorite role in life though was being a loving and caring grandmother to her grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2PM-4:30PM on Saturday April 18th, 2026 at Ambrose Funeral Home, 2719 Hammond's Ferry Road, Halesthorpe.
