Patricia Rudolph

Patricia Rudolph, age 74, passed away on May 2, 2024. She was born on August 4, 1949 to the late Martin Joseph Rudolph and the late Patricia Nelson Rudolph . Pat is the loving sister of Martin Joseph Rudolph Jr., Clare Connelly, the late Edward Connelly, William Rudolph, Kristen Johnson, Dave Rudolph, Kathy Durm-St Amant, and Jim St Amant; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

Pat was a caring sister, aunt, cousin and friend.  Her quest for knowledge lead to a career in teaching. She earned her PHD at UNC Chapel hill where she made many lifelong friends.  She was a tenured professor of Economics at University of Alabama where she taught for 25 years.  She returned to Baltimore/Washington area and taught at American University in DC. Post retirement, she started a new career and successful business as a CFP.  She graduated from the Ecumenical Institute at St. Mary’s earning a masters degree in Theology.  Pat moved to Charlestown Retirement community in 2018 and has shared her many gifts, talents and leadership as president of the resident’s council, numerous committees, and Parish Council president.

A public visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church on Wednesday, May 8th from 11 AM to 12 PM with a Mass of Christian Burial starting at 12 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat’s memory to The Sisters Academy in Lansdowne or the Charlestown Benevolent Fund are appreciated.
