Nelson Smith
December 19, 1930 — March 15, 2018
Nelson G. Smith, age 87, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2018. He is the beloved husband of Woneta Smith and the late Estelle Smith; devoted father of Shawn Smith (Cris) and Kimberly Huttenberger (Jeff), and stepfather of Philip Orem, Robert Orem, Michael Orem and Darla Dorn; cherished grandfather of 7. Also, survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family members and friends will honor Nelson's life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME OF LANSDOWNE 2719 Hammonds Ferry Road, Baltimore, MD 21227 on Monday from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will follow on Tuesday at St.Christopher's Episcopal Church,116 Marydale Road, Linthicum Heights, Maryland 21090 beginning at 9:30 am. Interment will immediately follow at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
