Michael John Smallwood

On June 12, 2025 Michael John Smallwood passed away at home. He was the beloved son of Ernest and Kathleen Smallwood; dear brother of Jennifer (Bennifer) Gagnon and her husband Michael; cherished uncle of John Reitzel, Taryn Crannell, and Rebekah Crannell; loving nephew of Susan Woodson and her husband Paul, Thomas Smallwood, Marion Feeser and her husband James, Janene Holzberg and her husband Peter, Karen Hawker and her husband Jeff, and the late John Zacharias and his wife Dana; also survived by many loving cousins and friends.

Mike was kind and devoted to family and friends, and he selflessly acted as caregiver to his mother over the last few years. He was an avid sports fan and video gamer. Mike was loved and will be greatly missed.

Family members and friends will gather in our Arbutus location at 1328 Sulphur Spring Road, on Saturday from 4-6PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to NAMI for Mental Health or the Alzheimer's Association. Links can be found below.
