Michael R. Riggs, Sr.

On September 3rd, 2025, Michael R. Riggs, Sr. passed away. Born April 25th, 1962 to the late Daisy and late Charles Riggs, he was the devoted father of Michael Riggs, Jr. and his wife Shamim, the late Kristin Riggs, Jennifer Riggs; cherished grandfather of Christian Riggs, Bella Faith Riggs; dear brother of Charles Riggs and his wife Cassie, Paul Riggs, William Riggs and his wife Molly, and Marianne Anderson and her husband Steven. Michael is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

A public visitation will be held at our Arbutus location on Thursday, September 11th from 4 PM to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, September 12th at 10 AM, with interment immediately following at New Cathedral Cemetery.
