Michael L. Fritz

Michael L. Fritz sadly passed away on May 30, 2025 at age 76, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Mike was born in Baltimore, MD and grew up in the Westport section of South Baltimore.

Mike was preceded in death by his father John, mother Julia and brother Larry. He is survived by his loving wife Linda, brother David, sisters Harriet and Julia, sons Michael and Jason and his wife Carrie, step sons Ryan and Jason and his wife Tara, step daughter Krista Linton, son-in-law Vince Linton, grandsons Andrew, Miles, and Kellen, granddaughters Emily, Natalie, Sarah, Shannon, Lynn, and Olivia; and extended family and friends.

Mike was very proud to have honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam era and was a member of the American Legion. He retired from Procter and Gamble after many years of dedicated service, then worked for Baltimore County Public Schools as an instructional assistant until his retirement. Mike enjoyed the Ocean City, MD beach, playing slow pitch softball, duckpin bowling, many rounds of golf and feasting on Maryland steamed crabs. He also enjoyed his time at the Ocean Downs Casino. Mike was very mild mannered and possessed a great sense of humor and enjoyed being a practical joker and prankster.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Disabled American Veterans, or the charity of your choice.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Halethorpe, MD 21227 on Wednesday, June 4 from 3:00-5:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 5 at 11:00am.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
