Makebblea “Shelly” Blackston, age 47, passed away on July 3, 2017 in Baltimore, Maryland. Shelly was born on May 28, 1970 in Baltimore, Maryland to Harry Blackston and the late Mary Elizabeth Blackston. Dear sister of Trina Blackston, Pamela Byrd and her husband Michael Byrd, Sr., Harry Blackston, Jr., Joseph Blackston and the late Kevin Blackston; cherished aunt of two nephews, eight nieces, seven great nieces, two great nephews, one great great niece, 1 great great nephew and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family members and friends honored Shelly’s life at the Israel Baptist Church of Baltimore City, 1220 N. Chester St., Baltimore, MD 21213 with a memorial service on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 10am.
