JoAnn Dixon

Linda JoAnn Dixon, age 82, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2023. She is the beloved wife of 62 years to the late Norman Dixon; devoted mother of Jill Whitehead and Christine Kelly; loving Mommom of Michael Henry, Matthew Henry, Timothy Whitehead, Jr., Jedidiah Whitehead, Jessica Whitehead, and great grandson Arlo Henry; also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

Linda graduated from Catonsville High School in 1958. She was a skilled and patient arts and crafts teacher at multiple senior centers in the Woodlawn, Catonsville, Lansdowne and Arbutus areas for over 30 years. Linda was also a floral designer at The Flower Basket in Ellicott City for 15 years.  She was a devoted member of the St. Timothy Church in Catonsville for over 40 years until the early 2000s when she became a member at Bishop Cummins Reformed Episcopal Church. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.

A viewing will be held at Bishop Cummins Reformed Episcopal Church, 2001 Frederick Road, Catonsville MD 21228 on Tuesday, March 21^st from 10am to 12pm with a funeral service beginning at 12pm. Burial will follow at Lorraine Park Cemetery.
