Lawrence Jay Cohen

Lawrence Jay Cohen, affectionately known as Larry, age 81, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025. He was born on March 2, 1944 to the late Sol and Rose Cohen. Larry is the beloved husband of 40 years to Norita Lynn Cohen; cherished brother of the late Joyce Traub and the late Ann Cohen; father of Alison Militello and Ashley and Curtis Peterson; dear step father of Scheryl and Bruce Lloyd, Kim and Dave Ringold, Bob and Wendy Mallory, Mark and Charlene Mallory, and Mike and Cindy Mallory; caring grandfather of Alexa Militello, Lillie Peterson and Ames Peterson; also survived by a host of step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, other family members and friends.

A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd, Halethorpe MD 21227 on Thursday from 10:00am - 10:30am with a funeral service beginning at 10:30am. Burial will immediately follow at Loudon Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Larry's memory to the Grayson Strong Foundation found in Venmo @Grayson_Strong
