Larry "Booty" Holmes, Sr.

Larry Garfield Holmes, Sr., age 71, sadly passed away on September 29, 2020. Larry was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Sylvester Holmes & the late Katherine Holmes (nee Smith). Larry is the loving husband of the late Patricia L. Holmes; beloved father of Larry Holmes, Jr., Tammy Holmes, & the late Joshua Grimes; cherished brother of Marvin Holmes (Punky) & Sharon Lee (Sissy); dear grandfather of Katlyn, Patricia, Corey, Justin, Destiny, Landon, & Chase; caring uncle of John McMeen, Jr. Larry is also survived by many other loving friends.

Family & friends may gather at the family owned & operated Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd., Lansdowne, MD 21227 for a public visitation on Monday, October 5th  from 3:00-5:00PM & 7:00-9:00PM. A funeral service will take place at the same location on Tuesday, October 6th  at 10:30AM. Interment will immediately follow at Loudon Park Cemetery. If you’re wishing to make a donation, the family wishes donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
