Joyce G. DeBoy passed away peacefully on December 5th, 2025. Born on May 11th, 1933 to the late Beulah and late Joel C. Greer, Sr., she was the beloved and devoted wife of 72 years to the late John “Jake” DeBoy; cherished mother of Janice Shinnamon, Jill Swisher, Janine (Marty) Ehlers, Jeff (Donna) DeBoy, John (Jeanne) DeBoy, Julie (Vernon) Williams, and Joey (Kim) DeBoy; loving grandmother of Donnie (Val), Jennie, Tara (Luke), Katelyn (Nick), Kyle (Steph), Jason (Mary), Kara (Trevor), Jake (Amanda), Anna (John Michael), Mollie (Kody), Brett (Ali), Jack (Louise), Drew, Josh, Tyler, Luke, and Zach and Great Grandmother to Noah, Jordan, Ethan, Nate, Jaxon, Charlotte, Macie, Jovie, Lucie, Titus, Liam, Carter, Dominic, Mila, Hunter, Devon, Violet, and Oaklie; dear sister to the late Joel C. Greer, Jr., the late Shirlee Schatz, and the late Patricia Seibert. Also survived by devoted sister-in-law, Kathleen DeBoy Whitaker, and many nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
