Joyce G. DeBoy

Joyce G. DeBoy passed away peacefully on December 5th, 2025. Born on May 11th, 1933 to the late Joel C. Greer, Sr. and the late Beulah (nee Caldwell), she was the beloved and devoted wife of 72 years to the late John “Jake” DeBoy; cherished mother of Janice (Larry) Shinnamon, Jill Swisher, Janine (Marty) Ehlers, Jeff (Donna) DeBoy, John (Jeanne) DeBoy, Julie (Vernon) Williams, and Joey (Kim) DeBoy; loving grandmother of Donnie (Val), Jennie (Justin), Tara (Luke), Katelyn (Nick), Kyle (Steph), Jason (Mary), Kara (Trevor), Jake (Amanda), Anna (John Michael), Mollie (Kody), Brett (Ali), Jack (Louise), Drew, Josh, Tyler, Luke, and Zach and Great Grandmother to Noah, Jordan, Ethan, Nate, Jaxon, Charlotte, Macie, Jovie, Lucie, Titus, Liam, Carter, Dominic, Mila, Hunter, Devon, Violet, and Oaklie; dear sister to the late Joel C. Greer, Jr., the late Shirlee Schatz, and the late Patricia Seibert. Also survived by devoted sister-in-law, Kathleen DeBoy Whitaker, and many nieces and nephews, other family members and friends. 

A visitation will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Road, Halethorpe MD 21227 on Sunday December 14 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will take place Monday December 15 at 10am at the Lansdowne Worship Center. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Joyce's memory to Samaritan's Purse.
