On November 13th, 2017, John Michael Shifflett passed away. Born September 28, 1955 to Leah and the late Edward Shifflett, he was the loving husband of Charmaine Shifflett; devoted father of Jeremy Shifflett and his fiancée Jessica Miller, and Ryan Shifflett and his wife Amy; cherished grandfather of Brenna Shifflett, Lillian Shifflett, Irelynn Shifflett, Abigail Shifflett, Amanda Wickless, Kori Wickless, Bradley Miller, and Matthew Miller; and dear brother of Dale Schrickling, Bill Terry, Toni Hodge, Charlie Shifflett, and the late Sharon Willig.
Family and friends may call at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd. on Thursday, November 16th from 3 PM to 5 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM. Funeral services will begin at 8 PM. Cremation will privately take place at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the provided Go Fund Me account to offset John's medical expenses.
