John C. Jenkins

John Carroll Jenkins, of Delmar, Maryland, passed away peacefully on June 30th at 5:30am at the age of 70.

Born on January 11, 1956, in the Bronx, New York, John was the son of the late Roland Carroll Jenkins and Frances Pantelis. He built a life centered on hard work, family, and dedication to others.

John spent his career in the home improvement and general contracting industry. Through his craftsmanship, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others, he left a lasting mark on the homes and lives of many people throughout the years.

Above all, John cherished his family. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Glenda Jenkins, a loving father of Tony Griffith and the late Joe Jenkins; cherished grandfather of Joe Jenkins, Jr. and his wife Mary, Abby Kindle, and Will Griffith; and soon to be great grandfather in August; dear brother of Robert Jenkins, Anthony Jenkins, James Jenkins, Helen Wong, and the late Mary Searcy; he is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He will be remembered for his strength, generosity, sense of humor, and the care he showed to those around him.

John's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His legacy of hard work, perseverance, and dedication to family will continue to inspire future generations.

A visitation will be held in our Lansdowne location on July 7th from 11am-1pm where a funeral service will take place at 1pm. Burial will immediately follow in the Loudon Park Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate John's life and share memories of the many ways he touched their lives.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the funeral home to help offset funeral costs.
