Joan A. Ashburn, age 76, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2021. She is the beloved companion of Stephen Whiting, Sr.; devoted mother of Karen Johnson, Robert Ashburn, Stephen Whiting Jr, and the late Brent Ashburn; loving step mother of Anna Whiting; cherished grandmother of Tyler Whiting, Jaelyn Whiting, Kristin Hayden, Jacob Hayden, Adam Hayden, Seth Hayden, Martina Whiting, Lorenzo Whiting, Nate, & Susana; great grandmother of Christian, Nicholas, Emma, Harper, and Kylie; also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home 1328 Sulphur Spring Road, Halethorpe, MD 21227 on Wednesday from 10am – 12pm with a funeral service beginning at 12pm. Burial will follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
