James "Jim" Gibbons, Sr.

James “Jim” Gibbons, Sr., age 89, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2023. Jim was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Thomas and Margaret Mary (Miller) Gibbons. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Elizabeth (DeVaughn) Gibbons; loving father of Jim Gibbons, Jr. (Kim), Greg Gibbons, Mark Gibbons (Ronnie), Scott Gibbons (Kim), and Jenn Cooper (Steve); cherished grandfather of Andrew (Heather), Nicholas (Hilary), Chelsea, Will, Hannah, Sarah (Adam), Zach, Brendan, Tyler, and Ryan; dear great-grandfather of Lilly and Charlotte. Jim is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving extended family. He is predeceased by his siblings Tom, Margaret Mary, Fran, and Rosemary.

A Celebration of Jim’s beautiful life will be held at the Maryland Yacht Club on Sunday, January 28th at 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Jim’s name to
