July 28, 1939 — November 7, 2025
James Elmer Engles, Jr., age 86, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025. He is the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Engles. Jim is the cherished father of Mar Svehla and her husband Michael, Chris Engles and his wife Kathy, Jim Engles and his wife Robin, and Leah Rose; loving Pop of Shannon, Lisa, Beth, Allison, Julia, and numerous great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; dear brother of Sally, Midge, and the late Pat; also survived by his caregiver Melinda many other loving relatives, and friends.
A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Road, Halethorpe MD 21227 on Thursday from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A funeral mass will be held on Friday at 10am at Ascension Catholic Church followed by burial at Loudon Park Cemetery.
