On May 22, 2026, Jack W. Cline peacefully passed away in his home in Elkridge, MD. He was the beloved husband of Suzy Cline; loving father of Jannine Warren and her husband, Jim; Greg Cline and his wife, Vicki; Tracy Thor and her husband, Greg; Lisa Sears and her husband, Bill; cherished grandfather of Megan Murphy and her husband, Matt; James Michael Warren and his wife, Lauren; Jack Cline and his wife, Maryna; Cody Sears; Joe Sears and his wife, Ro and Andrew Lewis Sears; cherished great grandfather of Miles, Millie, Alessi and another precious baby that will arrive later this month; and he is also survived by many loving relatives, friends and neighbors.

Jack was born and raised in Michigan, moving to Maryland in 1970. He enjoyed employment with both Westinghouse &Sears; however, his dream was to have his own business. He realized that dream by establishing Consumer Appliance Service in 1976. He worked tirelessly and built a strong customer base over the years, making lifelong friendships with some of his clients. The children of these clients eventually would call on him when they grew up and needed his expertise. In later years, Jack added to his resume both volunteering with Meals on Wheels as well as participating with Helping Hands at his home parish, St. Augustine Catholic Church. He retired in 2018 after servicing Howard County for 42 years.

We remember Jack with deep love and gratitude for a life beautifully lived; a man who had a twinkle in his eye and whose presence brought warmth, laughter, wisdom and joy to all who knew him. He lived life fully and generously, cherishing his family and friends above all else. He found happiness in traveling to new places, gathering around great food and participating in lively conversations, skiing fresh mountain slopes and spending peaceful days by his pool. And if you were lucky enough to have received a patented “Jack Cline Hug”, you knew you had been hugged by the best!

His life was a blessing, his memory a gift, and his love will remain woven into the hearts of those he leaves behind. 

Family and friends will gather for a prayer service at St. Augustine Catholic Church on June 4, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
