Suddenly on February 1, 2016, Irene Whitaker, beloved wife of Jesse Whitaker, Sr.; loving mother of Susan, Vicky, Lois, Regina, April, and Shirley; step-mother of Jesse, Jr., David, and the late Bobby, the late Tommy, and the late Terry; also survived by many loving granchildren, great-grandchildren, and her cherished pets Daisy and Duckie.
Relatives and friends may visit at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd., on Thursday from 6-8pm, where a Funeral Service will be held Friday at 11:00am. Interment following at Glen Haven Memorial Park. Family requests please send donations to Johns Hopkins Childrens Center 1800 Orleans St. in honor of your great-grandson Justin.
