Howard Thomas Cooke

Howard Thomas Cooke, affectionately known as Tommy, age 80, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026. He is the beloved husband of over 45 years to Joy Cooke; devoted father of David Oliver, Michael Oliver, and Stacie Burns; cherished grandfather of Austin Oliver and his wife Shelby and Nick Oliver and his fiancé Holly; dear great grandfather of Levi; caring brother of Diane Fetzer and her late husband Dennis and David Cooke and his wife Debbie. He is preceded in death by his siblings Frances (late Jim) Aderhold, Billy Cooke, Jr. (surviving Sadie), Jimmy (surviving Kay) Cooke, and Peggy Cooke; also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd on Saturday, August 15th from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will take place Monday, August 17th at 11:30am followed by burial at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
