George H. Stinchcomb

George H. Stinchcomb, age 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 20, 2023. He was the son of George T. Stinchcomb and Lillian Wiebel. He retired from Baltimore County Fire Department in 1992 and held the rank of Captain. George was a life member of Middle River Vol Fire Rescue, member of Marco Hunting & Fishing Club, The Essex ELKs, American Legion and Grandfathers Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents George Stinchcomb, Lillian Wiebel and sister-in-law Marlene Manzari.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years Alfreda Stinchcomb, Daughters Dottie Dovel (Dave) and Donna Graham (Ronnie), brothers Earl Stinchcomb (Ruth) and Robert Stinchcomb, sister-in-law Sandy Hale (Chuck) and godson Butch Baxter. He was the proud grandfather to Casey Wright (Dave), Crystal McColgan (Hunter), Samantha Schmitz (Andrew), Ryan Dovel (Ally), Great grandfather to David Wright III, Colton Wright , Tatum McColgan, Jade Schmitz,Talon McColgan and uncle to many special nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may gather at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Halethorpe, MD 21227 for a public visitation on Wednesday, September 27 from 3:00-7:00pm. A Funeral Service will begin at 6:00pm.
