George H. Smith

George H. Smith, age 93, sadly passed away on July 5, 2023. George was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late George E. and Martha C. Smith (nee Parker). He is the devoted husband of the late Rena C. Smith (nee Bacon); loving father of Michael F. Smith; caring grandfather of Jessica Ambrose (Sean); cherished great-grandfather of Seaden and Ronan Crowley; dear brother of the late Elizabeth Matrangola, the late Helen Klapaska, the late James Smith, the late Nelson Smith, the late William Smith, and the late Robert Smith. George is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors, and church brothers and sisters.

Family and friends may gather at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Halethorpe, MD 21227 for a public visitation on Friday, July 14 from 3:00-5:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Clement Church, 2700 Washington Ave., Lansdowne, MD 21227 on Saturday, July 15 at 10:00am. Interment will immediately follow at Loudon Park Cemetery.
