Gary Heckathorn, Sr.

Peacefully on December 31, 2019 Gary Allan Heckathorn, Sr. passed away at the age of 81. He is the cherished husband of Robin Heckathorn (nee Schmidbauer); devoted father of the late Laurie L. Lester and her husband Patrick Lester, Janet Mcreynolds-Sustar and her husband Rick Sustar, Gary Allan Heckathorn, Jr. and his wife Deborah Ann Heckathorn, Nadine Heckathorn Warner, and the late Craig Allen Heckathorn; dear grandfather of Kyle Mcreynolds, Darrick Mcreynolds, Brennan Lester, Donovan Lester, Sierra Rayne Warner, Nicholas Heckathorn, and Jessica Heckathorn; great grandfather of Carter Lee Mcreynolds and Evelyn Grace; also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Road, Arbutus, MD 21227  on Sunday from 3-5:30pm. A funeral service will take place on Monday at the funeral home at 11:30am followed by burial at Loudon Park Cemetery.
