Garland 'Bubby' Evans

Bub was born in Baltimore, MD on June 21 1975 and passed away January 24 2018.  He was educated at Mt. St. Joseph High School and UMBC. The beloved son of Garland Evans Jr. and his wife Marilyn Evans. Adored grandson of the late Gertrude Spiegel and the late Evelyn Evans and the late Louis Spiegel and Garland Eugene Evans. The most awesome & devoted father of Ashley Evans. Cherished nephew of Mary Craig-Beech and her husband Matthew Beech, Karen Spiegel, Louie Spiegel, and the late Patrick Craig Sr., Darlene Suit, Teresa Ritenhour, Cheryl Kidd, and Charlie Evans. Beloved brother of Tony Sutherlin, Bonnie Burhorst, Bobby Edwards, Stacie Heberle, Mason Evans, Brandon Thomas,  and Jordan Evans. Bub is also survived by lots and lots of nieces and nephews as well as many cousins and lifelong friends. Please join his family in the remembrance of him during visitation from 12pm until 2pm on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Ambrose Funeral Home 1328 Sulphur Spring Road, Arbutus, MD 21227 with a Christian service starting at 2pm.

He had a kind heart, a hard work ethic, a strong will and an incredible wit.  He loved to laugh and he had a passion for the New York Yankees, movies and music. The greatest love of his life was his daughter Ashley.
