Ezekiel D. Mercer, Sr.

Ezekiel Dunston Mercer, Sr., affectionately known as Zeke, age 69, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025. He was born on September 21, 1955 to the late James and Sarah Mercer. Zeke is the beloved husband of over 26 years to Valerie Mercer; cherished father of Ezekiel Mercer, Jr. and his wife Stephanie, James Mercer, Sr. and the late Jennifer, Damond Mercer; devoted grandfather of Jasmine, Arianna, Kaylah, Zeke III, James Jr., Morgan, Alexsis, October, Hailey, Malik and great grandchildren Liam, Grayson, Teagan, Hadley, Maeva, and Domonic Jr.; caring brother of Robert Mercer and Michael Dunston; also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.
