On September 12th, 2022, Ernest W. Whitacre passed away. He was the loving companion of Flossie Stuples; devoted father of Calvin, the late Jean, and the late Jettye; cherished grandfather to many.
Family and friends may call at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd., on Monday, September 19th from 12 PM to 1 PM. A funeral service will begin at 1 PM. Interment to immediately follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
