On July 19th, 2016, Ernest W. Schmidt passed away. he was the loving brother of Marian Morgan, Georgette Bingel, and Anna Bruce; and caring uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Pauline Schmidt; sisters Janie Henson, Pauline "Penny" Schmidt, and Elizabeth Elkins; and brothers Thomas Schmidt and George "Buddy" Schmidt.
Family and friends may call at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd. on Friday, July 22nd from 3 PM to 5 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM, where a funeral service will be held at 8 PM.
