February 8, 1940 — April 17, 2016
Elizabeth “Lil “Engles, age 76, passed away on April 17, 2016. She was the beloved wife of James E. Engles, Jr.; loving mother of Margaret Svehla and husband, Michael, Christopher K. Engles and wife, Katherine, Jim Engles and wife, Robin, and Leah Rose; cherished grandmother of Shannon, Lisa, Beth, Allison, and Julia, and great-grandmother of seven; dear sister of Mary Wisdom, Hannah McMahon, and John McMullan. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Family members and friends will honor Elizabeth’s life at Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Arbutus, MD. A public viewing will be held on Wednesday from 3-5 PM & 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, 2612 Wilkens Ave., Baltimore, MD, beginning at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Loudon Park Cemetery.
