Edward L. Watson, Sr.

On February 7, 2026 Edward Leroy Watson, Sr., affectionately known as Eddie, passed away. He was the beloved husband of Jessie; devoted son of the late William and Elizabeth Drury; loving father of Patty Smith and her husband Mark, Dianah Weatherly and her husband Larry, Debbie Herald and her husband Sam, Edward Watson, Jr. and his wife Linell, Sherry Watson and her late husband Larry, Jr., Ashley Watson and her husband Jeff, John Watson, and Tylen Watson and his wife Kaydin and the late Betty Watson; cherished grandfather of Sandra, Christopher, Tiffany, Isaiah, Faith, Larry, III, Noah, Edward, III, Brandy, Betty, Michael, Ethan, Savannah, Miranda, Shania, Nova, and the late Candice & great grandfather of Mariyia, Neaveh, Trinity, Malani, Paisley W., Weston, Ellis, Cameron, Noah, Jr., Anthony, Connor, Leah, Paisley, Grayson, and Adalyn; dear brother of Nola Watson, Donald Drury, Joey Smith, the late Bobby Watson and his surviving spouse Charlotte, the late Robert Watson, the late Bill Drury, the late Tom Drury; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Family members and friends may gather in our Arbutus location from 3-5 and 7-9pm on Thursday and Friday morning 10am-1pm where a funeral will take place at 1pm. Interment will follow in the Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie.
